I remember Don well through my husband Allan playing cricket against him. The photograph here is from a book called Village Cricket published in 1996 which tells the story of a fictional Village team. Its based in Yorkshire but the photos that illustrate it were taken at Staffield CC. Although the players knew they were being photographed, they didn't know why until the book came out!
